All Pack Hellas magazine and the Hellenic Labellers Association (ELSET) organised the 6th Panhellenic Label Contest, ‘Greek Label Awards 2023’, with the support of GLOBAL PACK EXPO. The awards were given during the Global Pack exhibition, on 11 November 2023.

It is with great joy that we read in FINAT's October newsletter a reference to our Thessaloniki event for ELSET’s 10th anniversary and their congratulations for our ten years of existence and collaboration.
Organisers, exhibitors and visitors had their minds filled with new experiences upon leaving the double FOODTECH and GLOBAL exhibition, which took place at METROPOLITAN exhibition centre from 11 to 13 November 2023.
The exhibition had many booths and even more innovations. ‘We leave behind the old and go into this exhibition with our eyes on the new,’ said ELSET’s Vice President, Mr Aggelos Mpalamatsias in his welcome address at the opening.
ELSET participated with a booth offered for free by the organisers, for which we thank them warmly.

As announced, our Association contacted Humanity Greece organisation, looking for a way to help flood victims in Thessaly, and we asked you to support this effort.
This initiative gathered the response of 13 companies and raised a total of €4,200.
As the Administrative Council decided on 19th September 2023 and pursuant to Article 13 of the Association’s Constitution, ELSET members are invited to an ordinary voting and reporting General Meeting on Friday 20 October 2023, 12:00pm or to a repeat event on Friday 20 October 2023, 4:30pm.
The General Meeting will take place online, by following a link that will be sent to members in advance. Voting for the new Administrative Council will also happen online.

Year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of our Association, which we will celebrate.
On Friday 29 September, we will gather at Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki for an event under the general title ‘Ten years of creation’.
Our aim is not to account for all we have done in these ten years. What is more important is to see what has not been done and plan what we want and can accomplish.
Being absolutely convinced that the best education happens in practice, we continue briefing students of Graphic Arts by inviting them to labels companies so they can experience first-hand the method, technology and philosophy behind making a label.
This time, the visit was from the Public Vocational Training Institute of Sindos to Haitoglou SA Graphic Arts at Kalochori, Thessaloniki.

Our Association contacted Dr Christos Georgiou, who expressed his willingness to voluntarily help our members find the best solution to the issue of succession in family businesses.
In particular, Dr Christos Georgiou poses four questions, to which he offers answers.
In all of ELSET’s briefing visits to Graphic Arts schools, students are invited to label companies to witness the method of work, preprinting checks, production and individual processes.
A few days ago, a group from the University of West Attica, Department of Graphic Arts Technology, comprising ten young students, five of which were Erasmus students from Germany (Leipzig, Darmstadt and Wremen), visited Forlabels in order to gain these experiences. They were accompanied by their teachers, Dr Anastasios Politis, Dr Marios Tsigonias and Antigoni Karamani.
Academic and professional stakeholders in the industries of graphic arts, printing and packaging, looking for a solution to the lack of specialised staff, a huge issue facing the sector, had a first, exploratory meeting to exchange ideas and write down needs. The online meeting took place on Wednesday 15 March 2023.
The meeting was attended by all industry stakeholders, specifically Mr George Gamprellis (President of HELGRAMED [Hellenic Union of Graphic Arts and Media Technology Engineers]), Mr Anastasios Politis (Vice President of HELGRAMED), Mr Marios Tsigonias (Director of GRAPHMEDLAB [Hellenic Graphic-Media Research Lab]), Mr Dimitris Mantis (President of AGMPM [Association of the Greek Manufacturers of Packaging & Materials]), Mr Aggelos Mpalamatsias (ELSET), Mr Christos Koutrouditsos (SEMEE) and Mr Kimon Papathanasopoulos (FESPA).
