As the Administrative Council decided on 19th September 2023 and pursuant to Article 13 of the Association’s Constitution, ELSET members are invited to an ordinary voting and reporting General Meeting on Friday 20 October 2023, 12:00pm or to a repeat event on Friday 20 October 2023, 4:30pm.
The General Meeting will take place online, by following a link that will be sent to members in advance. Voting for the new Administrative Council will also happen online.
The agenda is as follows:
- Report on what the Administrative Council has achieved in 2021–2023.
- Adoption of the financial report for these two years.
- Election of a new Administrative Council.
- Briefing on the issue of silicone paper.
- Anything else that comes up in the process.
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Association’s Constitution, quorum requires participation of 1/3 of members with voting rights. In lack of a quorum, the General Meeting will take place online on Friday 20 October 2023 at 4:30pm, as mentioned above. Quorum requires 1/4 of members. If it is not achieved again, the Meeting will take place on Friday 27 October and quorum will be assumed irrespective of the number of participants.
We remind you that ELSET members who are not labellers may attend the Meeting with no right to vote.
Members who wish to participate in the Meeting and vote online are kindly requested to inform us by 17/10/2021, to make the necessary preparations.
Colleagues who wish to be candidates for some body (Administrative Council or Audit Committee) are kindly requested to fill in the attached document and send it to ELSET. Candidatures will only be accepted until just before voting begins.
