Administrative Council of ELSET, in a spirit of full grief, announces that one of the older and more beloved collaborators, Mr. Ilias Stamos, passed away.
We express the sector’s commiserations to his family and we wish that we all take example of his morals.
After the ELSET elections that took place on January 26th of 2016, the elected members organized immediately a meeting, in order to constitute the body of the new Administrative Council.
A meeting between our members and the sector’s representatives took place, with the initiative of ELSET. They exchanged opinions and submitted their experiences about facing the problems that have been created by the new banking transactions condition.
The first conclusions were that problems concerning payment of abroad invoices has been faced with great difficulty, successfully though.
ELSET is organizing a New Year’s Pie event on Friday, March 13th, at 18:00. The event will take place at Lige Gallery Hotel. Thiseos 103. Ekali.
This event will be a great opportunity for all of us to meet each other, exchange opinions, discuss about ELSET’s activities and have a good time.
Third panhellenic label competition “Gold Label Awards 2015”, organized by the package magazine Alpack Hellas, took place this year, too.
The Awards ceremony took place during the 4th “Package and Label Innovation” Symposium, on February 18th, at exhibition center Helexpo, Maroussi.
4th Package and Label Symposium, named : “Symposium 4 you”, organized by package magazine Allpack, took place on February 18th of 2015, at exhibition center Helexpo, Maroussi, with great success and large attendance.
ELSET, through the participation of a large amount of its members, was there and its President, Mr. Skordakis, welcomed and greeted Mr. Aydin, president of the Turkish Label Association and official guest of the Symposium.

From Thursday, June 5th until Saturday, June 7th of 2014, the annual congress of FINAT took place at Monte Carlo. This year, its subject was the following : “Struggle for the demand from the shelves – Successful strategies for the :Label Industry”.
The annual FINAT congress is a milestone for the international Label Industry and is the most important event for exchanging know-how, reticulating and inspiring between the current and the future business leaders of our sector, but also amongst providers, analysts and observers from the whole range of the supplies sector.
ELSET, represented by its President and its General Secretary, participated at the annual congress of FINAT, which took place from June 12th to June 15th of 2013 at Munich.
Congress subject, named “Label Your Future”, concerned the upcoming opportunities for our sector.
The elections for the first Administrative Council of ELSET took place on May 29th of 2013.
The electoral procedure was carried out in a very warm climate. It was a very important moment for us, a successful result of a long-term effort and a dream that came true.
After that, on June 11th of 2013, the first meeting of the administrative Council of ELSET took place at ELSET headquarters (Tepeleniou 68, Kamatero). Its form is the following:
ELSET accepted the invitation to participate, represented by its General Secretary, at the annual event of the Turkish Label Association, named : "10th label day activities", that took place on January 18th of 2013 at Istanbul. A presentation, made by consultant Anthony White nad Tarsus Group Consultant Mike Farley an named as : "Τhe contribution of label design and print quality to the brand", attracted the interest of the participants.
