Informative visit of the Administrative Council in Thessaloniki

Between 21 and 22 October, an ELSET delegation consisting of its President (Mr. Avgerinos Chatzichrysos) and its General Secretary (Mr. Theodoros Kalakvouras) was founded in Thessaloniki in order to inform the labelers, either members or non-members of ELSET, about the latest developments on label industry issues.
Mr. Chatzichrysos and Mr. Kalkavouras made hourly meetings with each labeler separately. The main subject of these meetings was the release liner recycling.
FOODTECH and… the release liner

The visitors of the ELSET kiosk at FODDTECH exhibition which took place between 12 and 14 October were over 400. The majority of them were youths who are involved in agricultural and biological production.
Just like every exhibition in which ELSET participates, the visitors were taking a bag of recycling paper with an informative leaflet for ELSET, indicative labels with ELSET’s slogan and advertising material for ELSET members. As always, there were also school labels with slogans against child bullying.
FINAT is celebrating the label of the future

FINAT, the International Labelers Association, presented the winners of LABELicious 2019 contest at Brussels, on 25th September. The contest has been announced in the occasion of FINAT’s 60th anniversary and it has been designed based on the needs of the future of Label industry. Its main aim was to gain the interest of the new generation of talented designers and technicians, in order to make a contribution to the development of the sector.
Alessia Guerra from Italy was the award of the “Design” category, while Lukas Debock and Niels Hyde from Belgium won the prizes on the “Smart label” and “Sustainability” categories respectively.
ELSET’s participation in FOODTECH 2019

Just like in every innovation that aims to the promotion and the upgrade of label and package industries, the Administrative Council of ELSET accepted the invitation from FORUM to participate in FOODTECH exhibition, which will take between 12th and 14th October 209 at “METROPOLITAN EXPO” exhibition center.
The organizers will offer a free kiosk to ELSET (something that happens in every exhibition under ELSET’s auspices) and we would like to thank them for this.

ELSET’s presence was creative in even one more exhibition.
This time, this exhibition was “GRAPHICA 2019”, through a kiosk offered for free from the organizers.
Between 22nd and 24th February, ELSET had the chance to present its activities to a wide spectrum of visitors.

An established and a new exhibition came in contact with ELSET, in order to request to be under its auspices.
The Administrative Council of ELSET, loyal to its extroversion, accepted unanimously the requests of DETROP and FOODTECH, the new exhibition of FORUM Company.
Participation of ELSET at “SYSKEVASIA 2018”

Following its rising, “SYSKEVASIA” presented impressive results for 2018 too.
The 330 exhibitors, on the contrary of the 240 exhibitors of 2016 and the 17000 visitors, on the contrary of the 15000 visitors of 2016, are the safest prove of the success of this 16th event.
In the same time, the 10th “Plastica” took place, with the same success.
ELSET present at the Typography Museum

The biggest Typography Museum of Greece –with 2000 exhibits- and one of the biggest worldwide opened its gates at the University of Ioannina under the auspices of a lot of professional and government bodies (including ELSET).
Between 1st and 8th July, besides the 2nd Summer Graphic Arts Camp, the visitors had a great opportunity to learn about the evolution of typography and related arts.
ELSET at Pack & Label Days 2018

The Administrative Council of ELSET accepted unanimously the invitation for the event “Pack & Label Days 2018”, which will take place between Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May at the exposition center “I.Vellidis”, at Thessaloniki.
ELSET will be present with his own kiosk, offered for free from the organizers.
