Organisers, exhibitors and visitors had their minds filled with new experiences upon leaving the double FOODTECH and GLOBAL exhibition, which took place at METROPOLITAN exhibition centre from 11 to 13 November 2023.
The exhibition had many booths and even more innovations. ‘We leave behind the old and go into this exhibition with our eyes on the new,’ said ELSET’s Vice President, Mr Aggelos Mpalamatsias in his welcome address at the opening.
ELSET participated with a booth offered for free by the organisers, for which we thank them warmly.
Our Association and allpack magazine co-organised a label contest, whose awards were given during the exhibition.
The group of students that won first place received a gift voucher of €400 by ELSET. The group of three came from the University of Western Macedonia, with one of them receiving the award, along with the university teacher who accompanied him.
Award-winning labels and many others that took part in the contest were exhibited in special cases at our booth, which had approximately 330 visitors, many of whom were Graphic Arts students. Everyone was briefed on the role of labels, as well as the activities and goals of ELSET.
Of all our visitors, 300 took the recycled paper bag that we always hand out at exhibitions, which contains a leaflet with information about our Association, sample labels offered by the Administrative Council, school labels with slogans against child bullying, and advertising leaflets of members. As usual, we did not record visitors.
Those who did not take the bag took the leaflet and labels.
