The visitors of the ELSET kiosk at FODDTECH exhibition which took place between 12 and 14 October were over 400. The majority of them were youths who are involved in agricultural and biological production.
Just like every exhibition in which ELSET participates, the visitors were taking a bag of recycling paper with an informative leaflet for ELSET, indicative labels with ELSET’s slogan and advertising material for ELSET members. As always, there were also school labels with slogans against child bullying.
After 4 years of researches, ELSET can happily announce that release liner recycling is now disposed.
During the event organized by SYVIPYS under the title “Food Package Redisign on Cycle Economy”, Mr. Theodoros Kalakvouras (the general secretary of ELSET) referred to the efforts of the last four years, analyzing in what solution we came up with and how we did it.
ELSET’s efforts, in collaboration with FINAT, finally resulted in a recycling program which covers this need. The companies of products packaging must collect it on cartons disposed by the recycling program. When the required quantity is collected, the recycling program will transfer the release liner on its own cost.
The terns of participation on the program are on the disposal of the cash-aware members of ELSET.
Companies that are not members of ELSET and would like to register, they can search for the registration form on ELSET’s site and after that they should fill it and send it on ELSET’s email address (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
