Our History
/ The company FLEXOPLATES Papadopoulos S.A. has been active in the field of flexography since the early 80's in the form of a personal company, founded by Panagiotis Papadopoulos. It is constantly investing in new technologies, leading the market to the highest standards of quality in printing.
/ In 2008, the company moves to privately owned facilities in Industrial Area of Sindos Thessaloniki, establishing the limited liability company FLEXOPLATES with their shareholders: Panagiotis Papadopoulos, Ioannis Papadopoulos and Konstantinos Paziokis, creating the infrastructure for its development.
/ In 2013, it achieves the HD Certificate of quality from Esko Graphics and opens the horizons of its customers, providing excellent printing with their existing equipment.
/ In 2015 the company completes a new cliché production line, installing the Full High Definition system for the first time in Greece, while to this day it remains the first company in Greece to be recognized with the international Full HD quality certificate, providing printing companies with solutions and cost savings.
/ Responding to customer demands for excellent quality, low cost and immediate delivery time, FLEXOPLATES Papadopoulos installs another production line in 2018 and introduces Crystal XPS technology to their customer.
/ This is the latest innovation of Esko Graphics, for clichés of large dimensions (2032 mm x 1270 mm), but also of special requirements, in order to bring flexography one step closer to competitive printing methods.
/ During all these years, the company has frequently renews its technological equipment, is constantly certified by various organizations and continues to be staffed by the most qualified and skilled professionals in the field.
/ In 2019 it becomes the only company in Greece certified by FLINT with the title FLEXO EXPERT for the quality of its products. FLEXOPLATES Papadopoulos receives the certification in 2022 as well.
/ In March 2020, Ioannis Papadopoulos acquires 84% of the shares, redefining the continuousdevelopment of the company.
/ In April 2020 , while the global economy was in a recession due to the pandemic of Covid, FLEXOPLATES invests in AV FLEXOLOGIC's cliché montage system, which also has the ability to issue proofs. An investment aimed at enhancing quality levels in the carton industry.
/ In June 2023 , the legal form of the company changes from a O.E. becomes S.A. company.
