Continuing its information campaign for LABELicious contest by FINAT and in general, for the label industry, ELSET made a briefing to the students of Sivitanideios school, especially to those of the faculties of Graphic and Digital Press (1st and 2nd semester) and Food & Drinks technology (1st and 3rd semester).
The presentation was separated in two parts.
At the first part, Mr. Avgerinos Chatzichysos, president of ELSET, informes the students for the prospects of label industry and he explained that technological evolution offers some new chances for changing the whole industry, creating something completely different. As in every presentation of this kind, Mr. Chatzichrysos urged the students to get specialized, in order to work on label industry.
The second part was dedicated to the initiative of FINAT for LABELicious. The speech was held by Mr. Aggelos Mpalamatsias, cashier of the Administrative Council, who iformed students about FINAT (the international labelers association), the kind and the terms of the contest, the three contesting categories and the prizes the winners will get (one week of work experience, free visit at LABELEXPO at Brussels and a money prize).
After that, the students submit their questions and the two speakers answered them, in order to clarify all the details.
The briefing will be continued at technical schools, which ELSET has already been in contact with.
The Administrstive Council feels the need to thank “Typographia” magazine for the photo covering of the event and in general for its support in this effort (but also in other efforts).
