This time, labelers and providers went a little out of the usual context. The meeting at Hotel “Life Gallery” on Ekali was little less of a... professional nature and it was more like a chance for teambuilding and social contacts.
On Saturday 13-04-209, ELSET invited its members and friends for a quick briefing for recent activities, as well for a drink. Both of them were extremely successful.
The event started with a quick reference on the activities and the activities of ELSET by the president of the Administrative Council of ELSET, Mr. Avgerinos Chatzichrysos, its General Secretary Thodoris Kalakvouras and its cashier Aggelos Mpalamatsias.
In a nutshell, the speakers referred to the LABELicious contest which is organized by FINAT and ELSET has the responsibility to inform the greek audience (there have already been three presentaions in university faculties and schools). They also referred to Erasmus+, an educational program for employees and youths who are willing to work on the label industry, which aim is to convert to modern methods (i.e. digital skills).
The approach between ELSET and companies who organize exhibitions is a kind of recognition of the efforts of the Administrative Council. The list of companies which want to collaborate with ELSET is continuously growing. It means that the reputation of ELSET (and consequently its members’) is expanding.
They also referred to the next plans of ELSET, as well as the rest of ELSET important issues, such as sectorial contracts, the waste issue etc.
ELSET feels the need to thank all its members and friends that participated in this event.
